Last year, Bentley introduced a new model. new era of the Continental GT And the Flying Spur comes equipped with an impressive plug-in hybrid powertrain, particularly in its high-performance iterations like the Speed and Mulliner editions, which boast a staggering 771 horsepower. A year from then, Bentley plans to unveil more entry-level versions of both the Continental and the Flying Spur. These newer configurations remain robust in terms of power output as well; even their standard models feature an ample 671 horsepower.

Despite both being driven by a combination of a twin-turbocharged 4.0-liter V-8 engine and an electric motor, Bentley refers to the less powerful version as the "High Performance Hybrid," whereas the Mulliner and Speed models use the term "Ultra High Performance Hybrid." This difference causes a reduction of 100 horsepower; however, peak torque drops slightly from 738 lb-ft to 686 lb-ft. Nonetheless, these hybrid setups still outperform. The W-12 Speed versions from the preceding generation , however.
Despite adding the heft of a 25.9-kWh battery—which Bentley claims provides over 50 miles of pure electric driving—the increased power output ensures that the entry-level version of the updated Continental will likely surpass the acceleration capabilities of even the speedier variants from the previous generation. The standard Continental GTs and GTCs equipped with this simpler drivetrain still achieve 60 mph from rest in 3.5 seconds. Additionally, every new model incorporates Bentley’s “Active Chassis” technology package, featuring components such as an adaptive roll control mechanism, an electronically controlled limited-slip differential, and rear-axle steering functionality.

In addition to the base models, Bentley has revealed Azure variants of all three body styles. The brand says that these models "focus on reducing stress and promoting well being," although no Bentley is a particularly stressful place to be. Those stress-conscious Azure buyers will receive a car wearing a black gloss grille with 11 vertical chrome lines.

These models feature Bentley’s "wellness seating,” which includes heating, cooling, and massage functionalities. Additionally, the vehicle comes equipped with the carmaker’s elegant open-pore crown-cut walnut finish as a standard element, enhancing the sense of well-being.
